Construction ‘Megaprojects’ Can Get DOL Anti-bias Compliance Aid

The US Department of Labor launched an initiative to provide compliance assistance to construction “megaprojects” as the government begins to dole out billions of dollars in contracts funded in the massive 2021 bipartisan infrastructure law.

The DOL’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, which is tasked with enforcing anti-discrimination laws for companies that do business with the government, announced the program Tuesday. To be considered a “megaproject”, a project must be valued at at least $35 million, last at least a year, and consist of at least some federal funds.
