A federal appeals court shut down a road construction company’s challenge to the National Labor Relations Board’s order throwing out its workers’ requests to oust a union.
The US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit ruled Monday that Rieth-Riley Construction Co. couldn’t repurpose the standard process for getting judicial review of union election results to contest the NLRB’s dismissal of union decertification petitions.
