One of the unions at the center of rail negotiations that nearly crippled the nation’s supply chains last week has distributed the last-minute contract deal to its members for ratification.
The document, obtained by Bloomberg Law, offers for the first time a comprehensive look at the deal brokered over 20 hours of high-stakes negotiations last week at the US Department of Labor. It will play an important role in shaping the opinion of the union rank-and-file as they vote on the agreement in the coming weeks.
