Comcast Files Bid to End DOL Whistleblower Case Post-Jarkesy (1)

Comcast is seeking a federal district court’s nod to prevent the Labor Department from overseeing a whistleblower complaint through one of its administrative judges, arguing that a US Supreme Court ruling entitles the company to a jury trial.

Two former executives of BluVector Inc., a startup acquired by Comcast, brought claims before a DOL judge in May 2022 alleging that the company breached a promise to pay them millions in incentive compensation.
