Colorado Cannabis Company Sued by Former Employee Over Pay

A cannabis extraction company in Colorado was sued by a former employee who says it didn’t pay him what he was promised when he was hired.

West Edison Cannabis Concentrates, which does business as West Edison Inc., didn’t pay a sign-on bonus to Alexander Padgett, according to the lawsuit filed Nov. 5. Padgett alleges the company also failed to pay him the salary it promised if its extractor was in operation for at least a certain number of hours. Padgett says he worked as a manager, head biologist, and sales manager at West Edison.
