College Graduates’ Salary Offers Rise By 4.8 Percent This Year, NACE Reports

Average starting salaries offered to college graduates this year have increased 4.8 percent when compared with last year, according to survey results by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

The Bethlehem, Pa.-based nonprofit organization released its Summer 2011 Salary Survey July 6, and said the average salary offered to bachelor’s degree candidates graduating in 2011 stood at $51,018, an increase of $2,357, or 4.8 percent, from last year’s salary offer of $48,661.
