A coalition of business and construction industry groups Thursday urged President-elect Donald Trump to repeal a rule they say unfairly shuts out nonunion employers from large-scale federal infrastructure projects.
Associated Builders and Contractors, along with the National Black Chamber of Commerce and 22 other trade groups, made their demand in a letter criticizing the final rule released by the General Services Administration last year to implement President Joe Biden’s executive order for federal construction projects valued at $35 million or more.
