Circle K Settles Sexual Assault Lawsuit Filed by Store Clerk

Circle K Stores Inc. has settled the lawsuit of a clerk who alleged her store manager sexually assaulted her.

Cynthia Rendon said her supervisor Christopher Bradley Larson-Jarvis forcibly sexually assaulted her in a locked back office. Larson-Jarvis later made sexual overtures to her, and reduced her hours after she rebuffed him, Rendon alleged.

Rendon brought several claims against the company, including sex discrimination and retaliation. She said Circle K had received complaints in the past about Larson-Jarvis sexually harassing coworkers, but took no meaningful action to stop him.
