Cipriani USA Inc. cosigned a proposed agreement between itself and a former employee to end a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed against the company in December 2022.
Sophia Pak alleged in her complaint that she was fired in retaliation for reporting “inappropriate and unlawful comments” made by a consultant Cipriani hired when opening the Manhattan restaurant Harry’s Table in 2021. The company denied Pak’s retaliation claims in its answer filed with the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
