Chipotle Worker Files Class Lawsuit Over Breast-Pumping Rights

Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. discriminates against working nursing mothers as a class based on sex by denying them proper break time to pump breast milk while on the job, an Arizona worker alleges in a federal lawsuit.

Noel Hendrix says that’s what happened to her while she was working for the fast-food chain at a restaurant in Glendale, Ariz., in December 2016.

She seeks to represent herself and all current and former employees between March 9, 2016, and Jan. 3, 2017, who requested to pump or express breast milk while on-shift and were denied one or more pumping breaks or ...
