Chipotle Resolves EEOC Suit Over Sexual Harassment, Retaliation

Chipotle Services LLC agreed to pay $70,000 to end EEOC claims that the fast-food chain subjected a female manager to a sexually hostile work environment, then fired her for complaining about it.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Chipotle asked Judge James S. Moody Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida to approve a consent decree resolving the suit, according to a motion filed Wednesday.

Chipotle also agreed to “maintain anti-discrimination policies and internal complaint procedures” as part of the settlement.
