Chicago Grad Workers Sue Union For Pro-Palestine Advocacy (1)

A group of University of Chicago graduate student workers are suing to stop paying dues to their union, which they accused of antisemitism in its support of Palestine amid the Israel-Hamas war.

The lawsuit, filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, claims the students are being forced to associate with and pay dues to the University of Chicago Graduate Student Union, despite their opposition to the union’s political activities.
