Chemical Safety Board Chair, Board Member Confirmed by Senate

The Senate Tuesday night confirmed Stephen Owens as chair of the US Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigations Board and Catherine J.K. Sandoval as a board member.

Senate Environment and Public Works Chair Tom Carper (D-Del.) said the confirmations of Owens and Sandoval “come at a time when the CSB desperately needs leadership that can help the agency deliver on its important mission for the American people.”
