Charter to Face Trial in Disability Suit Over Worker’s Commute

Charter Communications LLC saw its win overturned in an EEOC lawsuit on behalf of a call center worker with night-driving issues who wanted a further temporary schedule adjustment.

The ruling July 28 by the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit weighed in on what may be a circuit split on whether and when an employer is obligated to accommodate an employee who has a disability that hinders their ability to get to work.
