Centura Health Must Give EEOC More Information in Job Bias Probe

Centura Health can’t withhold information sought by the EEOC during a disability bias investigation because it relates to employees other than the 11 workers who filed charges with the agency, the Tenth Circuit ruled June 28.

The relevance standard used to assess evidence requests by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission during a pre-suit probe is broader than the test used to determine relevance during an employment discrimination trial, the court said.
