Centene Bilked Customer Service Workers Out of Wages, Suit Says

Centene Corp., the country’s “largest Medicaid managed care organization,” faces allegations it violated the Fair Labor Standards Act and Illinois wage law by underpaying thousands of customer service representatives in a new lawsuit filed in a federal court in Missouri.

The proposed collective and class action was brought by Denasha Oliver, who worked at a Centene call center in Carbondale, Ill., on behalf of other customer service representatives.
