An Illinois federal district court granted motions to dismiss filed by Lacey’s Place LLC and other individuals against claims brought by a gaming attendant under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, finding that the attendant failed to allege the individuals were his employers, failed to identify protected activity or adverse action for his retaliation claims, failed to establish his effective wage fell below minimum wage, and failed to properly plead a pattern of racketeering activity.
