An Ohio federal district court denied MetroHealth System’s motion to dismiss the claims of a medical practice assistant that she wasn’t paid for all hours worked, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, ruling that the assistant had sufficiently pled that MetroHealth’s timekeeping policy is unlawful due to the editing and rounding of clock-in and clock-out times, which resulted in affected employees performing principal job activities without compensation.
