A federal district court in Florida denied approval of a settlement agreement between Cantina Dos Amigos and an employee claiming that he wasn’t paid wages due to him, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and state law, ruling that the amount was too small to cover all claims that it potentially says it covers, that it should be a final agreement not subject to modification, and that other provisions, such as a confidentiality clause and a waiver of future relief clause, are too vague.
