A District of Columbia federal district court granted summary judgment to JMA Resources, Inc. on a claim under the D.C. Wage Payment and Collection Law brought by a former vice president of business development who sought a severance package after his termination, ruling that no reasonable jury could find the vice president was terminated for reasons other than cause, as he failed to bring in any revenue during his nearly two years of employment despite that being the core purpose of his position.
