April 1, 2026, 6:35 PM UTC

An Illinois federal district court denied Aisin MFG. Illinois, LLC’s motion to dismiss Fair Labor Standards Act claims brought by a non-exempt hourly employee who alleged that the company failed to include non-discretionary bonuses in calculating his overtime pay rate, finding that the plaintiff’s allegations that his bonus pay was not calculated at the overtime rate despite working 79.50 hours during a specific pay period were sufficient at the pleading stage to place Aisin MFG. on notice of the claim.
