A federal court in Ohio granted summary judgment to FCA US LLC on a discharged employee and union member’s claims alleging disability discrimination under Ohio law and retaliation in violation of the Family Medical Leave Act. The former employee alleged that FCA discriminated against him concerning his termination for unexcused absences, and for allegedly making threats toward union officials following the termination hearing in violation of FCA’s workplace violence prevention policy.
