A federal district court partially granted a fired Mayes Emergency Services Trust Authority EMT’s motion to amend his complaint to add claims under the Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Oklahoma Open Records Act against his former employer after he was terminated following a rotator cuff injury, but denied claims against individual defendants as futile because they were either protected by statutory immunity or the EMT failed to allege facts showing they acted outside the scope of their employment.
