An Alabama federal district court denied summary judgment to Stone Age Korean BBQ LLC on the claims of a restaurant employee that he was discharged for complaining about not receiving overtime wages he had earned, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, ruling that there was sufficient evidence of causation between the employee’s protected activities and his discharge, and sufficient evidence that Stone Age BBQ’s asserted reason for the discharge could be considered pretext.
