A Florida federal district court denied a fired dishwasher and maintenance worker’s emergency motion for temporary restraining order in his Fair Labor Standards Act case against Kennedy Mart, Inc., d/b/a Curry Leaves Indian Cuisine, ruling that he failed to demonstrate imminent irreparable injury from his former employer’s alleged threats to report him to child services and have his children removed if he didn’t drop the lawsuit, failed to provide required security, and failed to show emergency circumstances justifying ex parte relief.
