Case: Wage & Hour/Fair Labor Standards Act (W.D. Wash.)

A Washington federal district court denied the parties’ joint motion for settlement of a case where a group of employees claimed that Aditi Consulting wasn’t paying them proper overtime wages for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a week, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, ruling that the settlement agreement didn’t acknowledge Aditi’s guilt, and unlawfully waived rights both to liquidated damages and to the ability to litigate all claims and causes of action unrelated to this case.
