A Tennessee federal district court denied summary judgment on a sonographer’s Fair Labor Standard Act retaliation claim against The Cardiovascular Clinic of West Tennessee, P.C., after she alleged she wasn’t provided reasonable breaks to pump breast milk under the FLSA and Providing Urgent Maternal Protections Act, and was terminated for complaining about it and mentioning legal counsel, where the court found sufficient evidence of causation between her protected activity and termination.
