A Massachusetts federal district court granted a motion to certify a class of salaried employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state law brought by a resource coordinator alleging National Grid USA Service Company violated the statutes by paying employees on a monthly basis by default, without allowing them to elect this payment schedule as required by law, finding the proposed class satisfied all Rule 23 requirements including numerosity, commonality, typicality, adequacy, predominance and superiority.
