A California Court of Appeal reversed the trial court’s denial of Studebaker Health Care Center, LLC’s motion to compel arbitration of wage and hour claims under the Labor Code Private Attorney General Act and other state law provisions brought by a former skilled nursing facility employee, ruling that despite some ambiguities in the three arbitration-related documents, the parties clearly intended to arbitrate employment disputes, and the agreements were not unconscionable as they contained no substantively unconscionable terms.
