The California Court of Appeal reversed the trial court’s denial of Studebaker Health Care Center, LLC’s motion to compel arbitration in a wage and hour class action brought under the Labor Code Private Attorney General Act and other Labor Code provisions by a former employee, ruling that despite minor ambiguities in the arbitration documents, the parties had clearly agreed to arbitrate employment-related disputes, and the agreement was not unconscionable as it contained no substantively unconscionable terms despite being a contract of adhesion.
