The National Labor Relations Board ordered a nationwide security company to compensate the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for lost dues after the company withdrew recognition from the union, in violation of the National Labor Relations Act. The board upheld the ruling of the administrative law judge that the company acted unlawfully when it refused to recognize the union, began unilaterally changing employees’ terms and conditions of employment, and stopped deducting dues from employees paychecks after management received a decertification petition.
