The National Labor Relations Board affirmed a ruling that a New Jersey hotel operator violated the National Labor Relations Act when it declined to bargain with the union representing its employees and refused to reinstate employees who were previously discharged unlawfully. The board upheld the administrative law judge’s finding that the operator was liable for its own labor law violations as well those of a predecessor company by refusing to recognize and bargain with the union, as well as refusing to reinstate employees who had been previously discharged due to their union activity.
