Waldorf-Astoria Management LLC is entitled to dismissal of the wrongful discharge and breach of contract claims of a 20-year employee of the Grand Wailea Hotel in Hawaii who was suspended and terminated after she was allegedly falsely accused of theft by hotel staff at a meeting where a union representative was present, the federal district court in Hawaii held. The employee was allegedly told to pay $900 dollars by hotel staff to keep the theft accusation confidential.
