April 15, 2026, 2:29 PM UTC

The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit denied Rieth-Riley Construction Company’s petition for review and granted the National Labor Relations Board’s cross-application for enforcement of its order finding that Rieth-Riley committed unfair labor practices under the National Labor Relations Act by unilaterally raising wages, withdrawing recognition from Local 324, International Union of Operating Engineers, AFL-CIO, refusing to bargain, and failing to provide requested information, as substantial evidence supported the Board’s findings that the company’s actions violated its statutory duty to bargain in good faith.
