The NLRB rejected motions to reconsider or intervene by two labor unions challenging on ethics grounds the board’s ruling reversing its position on worker access to company email. The Communications Workers of America and an International Union of Painters & Allied Trades affiliate argued that Member William Emanuel had a conflict of interest that compromised the decision. The Painters union affiliate failed to identify anything to warrant reconsideration, and the CWA was too late to intervene in that case, the board said. The case is Caesars Entertainment d/b/a Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino, 2020 BL 73471, N.L.R.B., 2/28/20.
