The National Labor Relations Board ruled that Anheuser-Busch must withdraw its federal court motion seeking to enforce a former employee’s arbitration agreement on his race discrimination lawsuit. The board upheld the original administrative law judge’s ruling, which found the company’s bid to arbitrate a union member’s bias claims violated the National Labor Relations Act. The board had overturned the ALJ’s decision in 2019, but reversed itself after a 2023 remand from the Eleventh Circuit.
