Arbitrator William C. Heekin denied a grievance filed by the Great Oaks Professional Organization against Great Oaks Career Campuses Board of Directors regarding the biometric screening option in Section 16.04.02.03 of their collective bargaining agreement. The arbitrator ruled that the board of directors did not violate the collective bargaining agreement when it required employees to use only the Butler Advantage Outside Provider Form as proof of biometric screening to avoid a 5% premium increase, finding this requirement fell within management rights since the contract language did not specify what form of proof was required.
