Standard Furniture, an importer and distributor of furniture, had just cause to discharge the grievant for attempting to steal company property, even though he was not in possession of such property when he was apprehended by the police, as he was caught in the warehouse “after hours” with no credible explanation, Arbitrator Barry J. Baroni ruled.
