A federal district court denied Aldi Inc. and Aldi LLC’s partial motion to dismiss claims of religious discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and wrongful termination under the Virginia Whistleblower Protection Act brought by a Muslim senior assistant manager who alleged he was terminated after reporting theft by coworkers, finding that he sufficiently pled all elements of his VWPA claim including good faith report, retaliatory termination, and plausible causation.
