A Tennessee federal district court denied Ephemera Global, Inc. and another individual’s motion to dismiss claims of intentional interference with business relationships and slander brought by a former chief technology officer who alleged that after leaving the company, the individual made false statements to his new employer claiming he had “secretly schemed” to take over Ephemera, resulting in his termination from the new position, with the court finding that the former former chief technology officer had sufficiently pled facts to state claims upon which relief could be granted.
