The Missouri Supreme Court affirmed a circuit court judgment denying an electrical contractor’s workers compensation retaliation claim, in which he alleged Meyer Electric didn’t hire him for exercising his rights under a Missouri statute during their previous employment relationship that ended due to his work-related carpal tunnel syndrome, where the company demonstrated that he wasn’t presently an employee “in the service” of Meyer Electric a year later when they refused to rehire him.
