A Utah federal district court granted summary judgment to Salt Lake City on the claims of two city employees that they were denied adequate procedural due process during their disciplinary and discharge hearings and appeals, in violation of the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, ruling that the pre- and post-determination procedures and hearings more than adequately met the due process requirement and didn’t provide a prejudicial disadvantage to either employee.
