A Louisiana federal district court granted summary judgment to a former general manager, on trade secret misappropriation and breach of contract claims brought by American Tile and Marble Co., Inc., ruling that the entire confidentiality agreement was null and void because the unenforceable noncompete clause could not be severed due to the absence of a severability clause and language indicating the agreement was entirely a noncompete agreement.
