The Texas Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court’s order granting Anesthesia Associates’ temporary injunction against four former certified registered nurse anesthetists who violated their noncompete agreements by working for a competitor within a 20-mile radius of their former workplace, finding that despite Anesthesia Associates terminating its contract with the hospital where the nurse anesthetists now worked, the company demonstrated legitimate business interests in enforcing the agreements, including protection of goodwill and specialized training provided to the nurses, and established irreparable harm that could not be adequately compensated by damages.
