A South Carolina federal court granted summary judgment to Fluor Corporation, Inc., Fluor Enterprises, Inc., and Fluor Intercontinental, Inc. on a former deputy director of its materials management group’s allegations of retaliation in violation of the False Claims Act. The deputy director claimed that he was terminated because he made a complaint to the compliance department regarding the accuracy of inventories on a government contract in Afghanistan, where he was assigned to work.
