A jury must decide a breach-of-contract dispute between Pinnacle Treatment Centers, a provider of substance abuse and addiction treatment services through clinics nationwide, and a former at-will employee alleging he is owed incentive bonuses for work that he did to develop seven new substance abuse clinics, a federal district court in New Jersey ruled. The court found that a valid contract existed between the parties in the form of an offer letter, but concluded the contract was permeated with ambiguity as to the terms of two performance-based incentive plans.
