Coastal States Automotive Group Management, LLC is entitled to summary judgment on a discharged female car salesperson’s claim for sexual harassment and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, a Georgia federal district court ruled. The employee alleged she was terminated for refusing her supervisor’s sexual advances, the court said. She failed to establish a causal connection between her rejection of her supervisor and his termination of her for absenteeism, poor sales performance and not receiving coaching, the court stated.
