The Eighth Circuit ruled that summary judgment was properly granted to Andersen Corp. on a male employee’s claim that he was subjected to a sexually hostile work environment when coworkers sent inappropriate texts to one another, but not to him, one employee referred to him as “lipstick” once and “lone wolf” another time, and a second employee referred to him as “love muscle.” These few complaints, standing alone, are insufficient to establish that he was exposed to a work environment that a reasonable person would find to be hostile or abusive, the court said.
