A Texas federal district court denied in part dismissal of the claims of two discharged employees of Travis County Emergency Services District No. 1, alleging gender-based discrimination and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, finding that neither employee stated a claim for sex discrimination, but allowing their sufficiently alleged retaliation claims to go forward after they reported sexual harassment and a lewd comment by the district chief and faced adverse action.
