A Texas federal district court denied K&N Holdings LLC’s motion to dismiss pregnancy discrimination claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act brought by a female RMA coordinator who alleged she was terminated after refusing to sign an unreasonable performance improvement plan that was implemented shortly after she disclosed her pregnancy, finding that she sufficiently pled an adverse employment action despite the employer characterizing it as a resignation and plausibly alleged she was treated less favorably than a similarly situated non-pregnant male employee.
